Four Acre has commissioned a number of research projects within the charitable sector. However, it is considered there is so much information and advice available that further research should be confined to precise areas, and positioned to inspire action.
 

John, the trustees and field officers have a huge amount of experience of the working of smaller charities, and will continue to contribute to the debate about effective charities. Occasionally, John presents his views at conferences, often taking an unconventional, but always pragmatic, tack.

A Dysfunctional Relationship
A review of the relationship between donors and recipient charities, A Dysfunctional Relationship, was commissioned in 2006 and is still relevant today.  Our trustees want engagement with recipient operating charities whilst respecting each others responsibilities.
